We were very proud to have been the lead Data Center Migration consulting team at the National Science Foundation for 2 ½ years from 2015 - 2017.  During that time, we provided the analysis of alternatives, migration design, implementation plans, and were also contracted to be the PMO for the implementation of the entire migration process.

Congressman Connolly Announces FITARA Award Winners – Education, GSA, HUD, NSF at Top of the Class

The FITARA Awards are the only Federal IT awards based on objective GAO data (the FITARA 6.0 Scorecard) – recognizing agencies that lead overall innovation and those that achieved top scores in the Data Center Optimization category. MeriTalk and Congressman Gerry Connolly will recognize the following agencies:
  • General Services Administration – Best Overall, A in DCOI
  • Department of Education – Best Overall, A in DCOI
  • Department of Housing and Urban Development – A in DCOI
  • National Science Foundation – A in DCOI
  • U.S. Agency for International Development – Honorable Mention for IT Modernization Vision
  • Department of Health and Human Services – Honorable Mention for IT Modernization Vision

As a result of the successful National Science Foundation Data Center Relocation, which was designed, planned, and managed by System Infrastructure Innovators, the Federal employee IT Team was recognized at the 2018 NSF Director’s Awards: 
 
“For exemplary service in designing and implementing NSF’s information technology infrastructure in Alexandria and executing the successful physical and electronic moves of the agency systems from Arlington.”
